Reiki in the Classroom

There are so many uses for Reiki in the Classroom that it is difficult to know where to begin. So I'd like to approach this from a very general perspective... details should be obvious.

For those of you who have studied Reiki Level 2 you have already learned about the Reiki Symbols... in particular the mental/emotional symbol and the distance learning symbol. These are most important in using Reiki in the classroom. Dissolving mental and emotional blocks are 2 areas that teachers need some superpowers and Reiki provides just that.

Mental blocks almost have a physical sense to them. For the students it seems like the information just isn't getting through... like something is actually blocking it. The older we get, the more this seems to occur (or is it just me?) :-) and this is where the mental block dissolving powers of Reiki come into play. By continuously sending Reiki to our students using the mental and distance symbols we can effectively dissolve these blocks and as is true with actual physical energy blocks, the sooner we start the easier they will be to deal with.

Emotional blocks, revolve around feelings of inadequacy or negative beliefs such as "I just can't" or "I don't like it" or "It's too hard for me" or "I'm just too stupid", etc. Continuously sending Reiki to our students using the emotional and distance symbols we can just as effectively dissolve these emotional blocks as mentioned above. This is especially needed at test time or other stressful situations as Reiki can restore a sense of serenity so that students can focus on learning.

There are so many specific uses of Reiki for teachers and there are no limits as to what it can do in regard to promoting the success of your students. Teachers also need to remember to use Reiki on themselves whenever possible, because teaching is quite the stressful occupation.
